At the Next Level Apparel manufacturing facility in Ashford, Alabama, Restoration Commercial Roofing

large industrial structure. This project showcases our ability to partner with architects, evaluate
challenging roof conditions, and execute a high-performance liquid-applied restoration system.
Project Overview
For several years prior to the full restoration, our team worked alongside the facility’s local architect to
perform maintenance and targeted repairs across the aging metal roof system. These repairs primarily
involved Tropical® 9400 Seam-Seal mastic applications to keep the roof serviceable while long-term
planning and budgeting were underway.
Eventually, continued patch-work repairs no longer provided a cost-effective or sustainable solution. At
that point, the facility—together with their architect—approved a full roof restoration designed to deliver
a 20-year labor and material warranty through Tropical Roofing Products.

Scope of Work
1. Surface Preparation & Structural Improvements
– Removal and replacement of several compromised PBR metal roof panels
– Mechanical etching of replacement materials for proper primer adhesion
– Installation of thousands of stitch-screws and field-screws to reinforce panel attachment and meet
structural uplift code requirements
2. Rust Mitigation
Corroded areas were treated using Tropical/Suprema 997 rust-inhibiting primer to ensure a clean
substrate for coating adhesion.
3. Full Roof Restoration System
A blended Tropical / Suprema 9400 + 924 Eterna-Sil silicone roof coating system was installed,
forming a seamless, watertight membrane.
The completed system now provides:
– 20-year labor and material warranty
– Superior UV resistance and reflectivity
– Long-term waterproofing and leak protection
– Reduced maintenance needs
– Extended roof service life
