the ITAC Manufacturing Facility at 213 ILJI Drive Luverne, Alabama 36049, a critical manufacturing operation
supporting Hyundai automotive production.
This project includes comprehensive roof inspections, active maintenance of existing roof
sections, and a scheduled full roof tear-off and replacement beginning April 2026.

Restoration Commercial Roofing Services was engaged to perform detailed inspections,
conduct diagnostic testing, address immediate roof deficiencies, and develop a long-term
roofing strategy for the facility.
Existing Roof Conditions & Findings
During our initial site inspection, our team identified multiple deficiencies across the
existing roof system, including:
•Extensive membrane punctures
•Improper installation details from previous roofing work
•Advanced natural wear and tear
•Heavy surface contamination and debris accumulation
•Elevated leak risk requiring immediate corrective action
The existing roof system is a 60-mil Carlisle Sure-Weld TPO single-ply membrane, installed over a structural metal B-Pan roof deck.
Emergency Maintenance & Service Agreement
To protect ongoing manufacturing operations prior to the full replacement, Restoration Commercial Roofing Services initiated an emergency roof maintenance and service agreement.
Our service department:
•Performed immediate leak mitigation and repairs
•Addressed punctures and deficient membrane areas
•Removed heavy contamination and debris
•Ensured all repair materials were chemically compatible with the existing Carlisle TPO system
•Completed all work in full compliance with manufacturer specifications and OSHA safety standards
These measures stabilized the roof system and significantly reduced risk while maintaining operational continuity.

To meet Alabama energy code requirements, the new roof assembly will include:
•2 layers of 2.6-inch polyisocyanurate (polyiso) insulation
•½-inch high-density (HD) cover board installed above insulation
New Roof System
•Duro-Last TPO single-ply membrane
•Latest 2025 Duro-Last TPO formulation
•Final attachment method confirmed during bid phase
